I was heading north off the old interstate highway. Running from a life that I know longer knew. Nothing could prepare me for what I was about endure. It was very dark that night. The moonlight was the only source of brightness besides my headlights. As I drove down that lonely highway, the fog began to thicken. The road was no longer visible, and I was no longer running away.                         

 My two-door pickup had lost power, and I was out in the middle of nowhere. I sat in the truck persistently turning the key. Since the truck wouldn't start, I was convinced that maybe there was a battery issue. I look around for my phone to see if I call for help. Unfortunately, it showed three bars, and wasn't responding.

 Due to my asthma, my anxiety exacerbated my condition significantly. I was getting prepared to open my door unaware that there were others present in the vicinity. I heard a coyote howl which gave me second thoughts about getting out.

I jumped back inside the truck and locked my doors. I begin pushing all the buttons on my cellphone. I was determined to get a signal.  Though scared, I was ready for any wild animals. In my mind, I figured that it was a loose cable that may have disconnect from the battery. Thriller....                                                                                                  CLUB BOULDER                                                                                            Going to the club on a Saturday night was a weekend thing for us. The girls and l were invited to an event at Club Boulder. We all had received invitations through our emails. I was looking forward for the night so I couldn't wait to arrive. The club had been around for two years. And even though we were just getting an invite, it seems like it had just open for the first night. 

The email was sent anonymously, so no one knew who sent them. We just knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to see what the club was about. It was the talk of the town for those who had already attended these events. Some people were committed to being there every Saturday.
